Today as I was dropping my friend off to get his car, I was talking to myself, which lead me to a revelation, "Cars are like people."
There are cars that are in need of repair, just like there owner. The car may need inside repairs, out side, or even windows. The turn signal needs a new light bulb, or the tire has went flat and it is time for a new one. All of these are metaphors for the journey one goes through when working on ones self. There isn't any differences. Just because the car may fixed doesn't mean it is broke, it just means that it needs a tune up here and there.
We look at life through mirrors. If the car mirror is broke and we don't like what we see then it is time to get a new one, hence it is time to look at the mirror with new eyes.
All is a reflections. Sometimes the car just totally breaks. There is no way of fixing it, and a new car must be replaced. To me this is symbolism for a new life. I can recall when my 1992 Grand AM, finally went kaput in 2004, and it was just time to get a new one. It was no longer reliable to drive, and plus my husband at the time was being deployed, so I needed something reliable. I went and bough a new Jeep. Little did I know that it was also a reflection of new life. I later found out a week or two after getting the new car, that I was indeed pregnant with our first child. God made it possible. He knew that we needed something a little bigger, so God made it happen.
Always keep in mind much of what we go through in life are metaphors for other things: Houses, nature, boats, bikes, video games, etc... All a metaphor, which has been put here to teach us something about ourselves.
